HOW TO FIND YOUR WAY TO CATHALLAN COTTAGE

BY ROAD

From ABERDEEN take the A96 and follow this road  through Keith then turn right off the A96 approx 2 miles north of Keith, signposted Buckie and Moray Crematorium. Follow the B9016 until you come to the junction with the A98. Turn right then almost immediately turn left, sign posted Portgordon. Follow the main road through Portgordon to Buckpool. Cathallan Cottage is in Bowies Lane on the left almost opposite the Harbour Bar.

From EDINBURGH  take M90 to Perth. Leave at Junction 8 and take the A9 North.  Continue  past Aviemore then take a right turn on to the A95. Follow this road until you reach Rothes then turn right on to B9015 until you reach Mosstodloch. Turn right along the A96 to Fochabers. Continue through the town until you come to a roundabout. Turn left on to the A98 and follow this road until you come to a sign for Portgordon. Turn left and follow the main road through Portgordon to Buckpool. Cathallan Cottage is in Bowies Lane on the left almost opposite the Harbour Bar.  

From GLASGOW, head North on  the M8. Take the junction on to the M80. Continue until you can join the M9 North. Travel on the A9 past Aviemore then  follow the directions as detailed above.

BY RAIL

From Aberdeen take the train to Keith then the bus from the Station to Buckie.

From Edinburgh and Glasgow  take the train Aberdeen then on to Keith then the bus to Buckie from the Station.
